a love story

dc12

What inspires me most about love is that it can be defined in many different ways- it comes in all shapes, sizes and colors, it can be passionate and bold or quiet and calm, it can be unexpected, challenging and forever. The best part is that we all have a love story (or stories) that is our very own. My story is filled with heartbreak, adventure, passion, friendship, bravery, comfort and years of love that culminated with eloping to a cliff side beach in Northern California- it was a perfect and divine way to start a new chapter in our lives. So when we were asked by friends, to participate in their own small and simple wedding ceremony we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of someone else's story. This was my first time photographing a wedding and it was truly inspiring and an honor to document a family starting their own new chapter together

I love the photos. My favorite is the one showing the 3 hands ... his, hers and the hand they made together.

Gorgeous shots -- love the sepia tones! And the bride wore orange shoes -- totally cool. Looks like you could have yet another career as a wedding photographer if you wanted.

For your first wedding photos you should definitely be patting yourself on the back. Your love of photography and capturing something "more unusual and different" than what others see is very reflective in your photos. I love the photo of the mens black trouser legs and their black dress shoes and the brides stark white legs and the pop of her red shoes....made me smile BUT my favorite is the last photo of the new bride and groom holding their daughter and looking out into the future......I would be proud to have photos that look so soulful. Congrats!
